Are students required to have taken the COVID-19 vaccine?

Blinn does not require students to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

Will vaccines be available on campus?

Washington County EMS will administer Moderna COVID-19 vaccines at the Blinn-Brenham Campus Student Center on the following dates:

First Dose

Monday, August 9

3-5 p.m.

Second Dose

Tuesday, September 7

3-5 p.m.

 

First Dose

Friday, August 27

3-6 p.m.

Second Dose

Friday, September 24

Noon – 3 p.m.

No appointment is required. Anyone who already has had their first Moderna dose prior to these dates can receive their second dose at the vaccine clinic if it has been 28 days since their first dose. Individuals who have received a previous dose should bring their vaccine card.

These are scheduled to be the only COVID-19 vaccine clinics offered on the Brenham Campus this fall. For more information, call 979-209-7400 or email campus.clear@blinn.edu.

Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer stations are available for use throughout all Blinn College District campuses.

Should I bring hand sanitizer to campus?

Students and employees are welcome to bring hand sanitizer to campus. Additionally, Blinn has installed additional hand sanitizer stations in the common areas of every campus facility for use by employees and students. Disinfectant wipes are available for use by employees and students for wiping down spaces as needed.
